The Gaia Foundation is organising two events at Ramla Bay, Gozo this weekend, on Friday for children and families, and Saturday, a clean-up event.
This Friday, the 24th from 10am to 2pm, the Foundation is holding a kid’s fun day. “If you care about the environment and you love art and you want to pass on these values to your kids while also enjoying the beach, this is the event for you.”
The Gaia Foundation will be creating ‘rubbish works of art’… literally. They will be putting all the rubbish found in the sand to good use and adding a splash of paint here and there for additional colour, So go along and have some fun…..
Then on Saturday, there is the opportunity to take part in clean-up of the beautiful beach at Ramla . The Gaia Foundation is inviting the public to go along and lend a helping hand.
The Foundation said that every little bit helps, so please join them to help make the event a success.
The day to keep free is this Saturday, the 25th of August, and the time is from 10am until 2pm.
These initiatives are from a programme of five blue flag events happening this summer organised by the Foundation.
Both events are completely free, “all you need to bring is your enthusiasm.”
