This will members of the public and photographers the opportunity to enjoy the unusual spectacle.
Visitors will be guided into the birdwatching hide and the reception centre, with BirdLife Malta staff present on site to ensure there is no unnecessary disturbance to the birds.
No booking is required for this special opening and entry to the reserve will be as usual free of charge.
Depending on the general demand and should the birds remain on site, BirdLife Malta said that it also plans to organise a second open morning during the weekend. However more details about this will be announced later.
