When New York Best made the change to a bistro, we were all left wondering if we’d be seeing the return of their breakfast menu.
Our prayers have finally been answered, after the iconic restaurant announced this week that they’d be bringing it back with a twist.
Keeping in line with their new image, the morning menu has been given a fresh coat of paint that brings it up to date with their new concept.
Forever proving that they are the masters of hollandaise, their new menu will be kicked into action this weekend and we can’t wait to check it out.
Expect endless smiles when you tuck into their eggs benedict.
Or get a load of their brand new breakfast stack, made up of their in-house thick-cut French toast, crispy bacon, fried eggs and topped with a drizzle of golden syrup.
Kickstart your day with their English breakfast, if your stomach’s asking for a classic wake up call.
Baked beans are included, they just forgot to plate them here.
And if the usual breakfast items don’t tickle your fancy, then why not try their beyond breakfast?
With a grilled beyond beef sausage, smashed avo (every hipster’s favourite) and a slow-roasted mix of mushrooms and tomatoes; completely vegan for every ethical eater, while still allowing you to feel like one of the guys by starting your day with a (somewhat meaty) sausage.
They’ve also got a great vegetarian option for those of you who still enjoy an egg every now and then.
Get a good look at those Morrocan eggs on the left. Two poached eggs rest warmly on a bed of salata mixwija (a mix of roasted veg) and chickpea ragu, with a fresh spread of pomegranate seed hummus on either sourdough or rye bread toast.
And finally, for those who love their meat and cheese, there’s everyone’s favourite lady – the Croqué Madame.
Brace yourselves for the final item on their fabulous new menu: duck eggs.
Gently cooked in butter, set beside some grilled asparagus with bacon lardons and a slice of toasted sourdough.
If you’re wondering where all of this food belongs, the answer is:
Mela – breakfast is saved once again thanks to New York Best Bistro.
